Yesterday the judiciary, along with the police leaders and Labour government, granted them their authoritarian wish.
What a dark day for British liberal democracy, after our billionaire-owned media succeeded again in getting the British state to take another axe to our freedoms to protest?!
Let me be clear.
Palestine Action’s sabotaging the British weapons factory owned by the war crimes-enabling Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit was NOT an act of “terrorism.”
It was an act of heroism.
The defensive action by just one of the protectors that injured the police officer protecting Elbit’s genocidal arms production was not heroism, and despite rightly being found unintentional by the jury, it nevertheless deserved proportionate punishment, but NOT as “terrorism”.
Peaceful Protest Is Not Terrorism
Yesterday’s abhorrent Court of Appeals upholding the Labour government’s abhorrent decision to proscribe #PalestineAction as “terrorists” was an attack on all of our century-old rights to peaceful resistance to government and corporate collusion in genocide and other crimes against humanity and nature.
And the bizarre lies about the Suffragettes to justify the proscription, by the Lady Chief Justice, was a betrayal of their historic campaign for women’s equality.
Billionaire Media’s Orwellian Propaganda.
But let us be clear also.
Yesterday’s authoritarian ruling came only after years of billionaire-owned media’s racist assault on the opposition to the colonial destruction of Palestine.
The billionaire-owned media’s lying, Orwellian propaganda headlines constantly declare that:
• Peaceful Palestine Action pensioners with placards are “terrorists.”
• Peace marches opposing genocide are “hate marches.”
• Israeli colonial terrorism is “the right to self-defence.”
• Palestinian resistance to ethnic cleansing is “terrorism.”
• Constantly lies that anti-zionism is antisemitism.
• Occupied West Palestine is called “Israel.”
• Occupied East Palestine is the “West Bank.”
• Occupied South-West Palestine is the “Gaza Strip.”
• Tzahal (IDF) colonial terrorist militia are called “defence forces.”
* The colonial Israeli regime is an “ally” of Britain, when they constantly threaten the UK’s national security.
Protest Proscribed as “Terrorism”
After years of these lies, yesterday the billionaire media achieved another of their aims to legally proscribe in the UK peaceful opposition to zionist terrorist colonialism as “terrorism.”
Terrorisation of all Civil Resistance Action v Property
But not only have they succeeded in relation to the Palestinian movement, but they achieved their aim that ANY damage to property, in opposition to their billionaire media-captured governments on ANY cause, is “terrorism” and punishable by punitive jail sentences.
This destruction of our human rights was also actively backed by the Tory and ReformTory Parties.
