Urgent Call For Conservative Party Members!!
Are YOU or someone you know a Conservative Party Member (England, Wales or Scotland)?
The Media Sovereignty Campaign is looking for local Conservative Party members who would be willing to submit the Media Sovereignty Act to their local parties for endorsement for submission to Conservative Party Regional, National and UK Conferences.
We are running out this campaign to all mainstream parties.
You Cannot Have Freedom or True British Sovereignty if Our Media is Foreign & International Billionaire Captured.
The fact that a significant majority of Britain’s print, broadcast and social media have been captured by offshore media billionaires means that what should be our British media reflects their vested interests, not the interests of British businesses, the British economy or the British people.
With the South African social media billionaire and Twitter owner Elon Musk abusing his control over X to back the extremist Restore Party and threatening to “tear down the British state”, now is a crucial time for Conservatives to protect Britain by adopting the provisions of the Media Sovereignty Act.
The last Conservative government introduced a 15% cap on foreign states buying our media, as they understood the threat to our democracy posed by foreign state ownership.
But no restrictions have been placed by the Labour government on foreign-based or international billionaires owning ALL of our media.
Recently, the Labour government allowed the Telegraph group to be captured by a German media billionaire.
The Times, Sun and Times Radio are owned by a US/Australian billionaire, and the Daily Mail group is owned by a Monaco-based billionaire. Sky News is owned by US billionaire corporation Comcast. Channel 5 is owned by US billionaire Dan Ellison. Amazon, Google, and Facebook are owned by US billionaires.
The Media Sovereignty Act will completely end international media billionaires’ domination.
The Mandelson scandal exposes the urgency of reclaiming our media ownership from the offshore media billionaires who have hijacked our British media and politics.
It is time to take back control from these media billionaires.
We need British-owned media for a British-owned democracy.
Yes We Can!
The Media Sovereignty Act 2026
Sovereign-owned media is essential for a genuinely free British people and a fair, thriving democracy for everybody living in the United Kingdom.
The Media Sovereignty Act establishes the regulations and systems by which the United Kingdom reclaims, protects and enhances its media sovereignty for its nations and its peoples.
The Media Sovereignty Act:
- Bans foreign ownership of UK media[1].
- Protects a free market in ideas in the British media by banning monopolisation of media ownership.[2].
- Distributes media ownership across UK society[3].
- Protects British people from media abuse by requiring all relevant media to be members of the post-Leveson regulator Impress.
- Requires all dark-money-funded think-tanks covered in the media to report their donations in real time. These are often currently funded by offshore billionaires seeking to secretly manipulate British politics.
WHY do we need the Media Sovereignty Act?
In order to reclaim the loss of the British people’s sovereignty over our media, the Media Sovereignty Campaign has been established to pass the Media Sovereignty Act
Our British media has been hijacked by an international billionaire cabal, which is causing havoc and damage across almost every section of British society.
Our democracy, our economy and our commitment to international law and institutions are being threatened.
We need to reclaim British media ownership.
We need to take back control of our media ownership for the British people from the foreign billionaire elite.
The Media Sovereignty Act addresses five key issues to reclaim sovereignty for the British people over our media:
- Our media should be free from offshore and international billionaire capture.
- Our media ownership should reflect British society, not foreign billionaires’ interests.
- Stops the destruction of British media companies caused by the siphoning off of £billions in British advertising revenues abroad by the three US tech billionaires, and instead invests it in British journalism via a levy on the giant US social media corporations.
- Britons should be protected from media abuse of power by fair regulation.
- The British media should be freed from dark-money foreign billionaire-funded think-tanks corrupting our British media agendas.
You cannot have a free and fair British democracy if all our British media and political power is monopolised and bought by a tiny international billionaire elite.
It is time for the Media Sovereignty Act!
